TriStar Spring Hill ER has proudly been a part of the Spring Hill community for more than seven years. In that time we have treated more than 95,000 patients. From heart attacks, strokes, accidents, allergic reactions and much more, we are always ready to serve our community. We are now facing a global pandemic that has changed almost every aspect of our daily life. Schools are closed, many are working from home, facemasks are the latest accessory, and virtual web meetings are keeping us connected to our family and friends.

The pandemic is also changing the way people interact with the healthcare system as telemedicine is replacing many in person office visits. While the global spread of COVID-19 has made a tremendous impact on how we conduct patient care, access to emergency services remains available to all. Any patient with an urgent health concern, whether COVID-19 related or not, should not put off seeking medical care.

We are seeing many patients who are delaying a visit to the emergency room and waiting until their symptoms worsen to seek care. This can be incredibly dangerous depending on your symptoms as there are interventions for heart attacks, stroke and trauma that need to be administered quickly. If you are experiencing emergency symptoms of any kind, it is both safe and necessary to seek medical care.

TriStar Spring Hill ER has strong infection prevention protocols in place and follows guidelines set forth by the Centers for Diseases Control and Prevention (CDC). These protocols include comprehensive screenings, personal protective equipment (PPE) for all patients and staff, and rigorous cleaning procedures. Patients with COVID-19 symptoms are taken to a separate area of the Emergency Room upon arrival.

We stand ready to provide safe, life-saving care every day in Spring Hill, and we have quick access to a higher level of care through TriStar Centennial Medical Center. The health and safety of our community is our top priority, and we are here for you 24/7. We do encourage you to call ahead if you have any questions or are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms.

Lastly, I want to thank the Spring Hill community. We have seen so much love and support over the past several weeks. Many area businesses and individuals have stepped up to feed our front line caregivers, sew masks and offer words of encouragement. We could not be more grateful to be part of this community.

Stay safe.
